The GE Homespring™ utilizes the ZeeWeed™ ultrafiltration membrane that physically removes pathogens, particulates and turbidity from the water supply. Millions of microscopic pores on the membrane surface allow water molecules to pass freely through the membrane, but contaminants which are much larger in size are effectively blocked out of the drinking water distribution system.
